Chronic Fatigue

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a very real and somewhat complex diagnosis used to describe a series of symptoms which usually include a debilitating exhaustion that last for months and does not improve with rest.

There are up to 8 defined symptoms which are used to diagnose chronic fatigue:

  • Fatigue

  • Loss of memory or concentration

  • Sore throat

  • Enlarged lymph nodes in your neck or armpits

  • Unexplained muscle pain

  • Pain that moves from one joint to another without swelling or redness

  • Headache of a new type, pattern or severity

  • Unrefreshing sleep

  • Extreme exhaustion lasting more than 24 hours after physical or mental exercise

The condition and symptoms are very real but the solution is often to put the patient on pain meds to subdue the symptoms.   At the Natural Health Improvement Center, you can find real solutions rather then simply treating symptomatically.

Taking apart the cause of a person’s chronic fatigue can lead down several different avenues.

There could be:  Adrenal Fatigue, Hormonal ImbalancesAllergies, Poor Gut Health, Heavy Metal Toxicity, Poor Diet, Obesity or Body Composition Imbalances or some other yet undiagnosed underlying situation which is creating these symptoms.

Proper testing and peeling down through the layers of symptoms is a specialty that the practitioners at the Natural Health Improvement Center are well versed in.

Sometimes, symptoms are relieved in as little as 4-6 weeks on a Gut Health Program or may take longer depending on what is found and the technical individual program that is worked out based on the patient’s history, labs and symptoms.

But, at the Natural Health Improvement Center, we partner with our patients to get you well and keep you that way, whether that’s a short period of time or if needed, the longer haul.

Here is one simple example:

"I was feeling lethargic, no drive to get up and do things outside of my responsibilities. My memory was worsening and I could not focus and concentrate. Things were getting worse over the last three years, and I knew it. Being able bodied, I was worried about Alzheimer’s, and began to seek help. I started by having a very thorough blood panel done, everything seemed fine. So what could be going on? A doctor friend explained it may be hormones or toxins, she mentioned a group in Grandville that did excellent work in these areas. I called and scheduled with Dr. Ann Auburn, her staff and medical assistants run that office like a well oiled machine. They did a hormone panel and a toxic panel. The labs gave them a plan to my better health. Dr. Auburn explained how toxic metals interfere with the hormone’s ability to balance. We chose Chelation to remove toxins and after three sessions, I already noticed an improvement in my focus and concentration. She began bio-identical hormone therapy and after a couple months, I feel like my life, energy, and spark are back. I sleep great now, and my mid day slump is gone. I am very appreciative to Dr. Auburn, for all her help in giving me back my younger self." -TL
