Major Autohemotherapy
What is Ozone?
To appreciate and understand the medicinal value of ozone, we must look closely at the properties. Ozone is a colorless gas, and each molecule is made up of three atoms of oxygen which are loosely bound together. Because of this third atom and ozone’s positive charge, it has an oxidative effect on organic compounds meaning-it wants to give away its extra atom of oxygen. When it does so, ozone can neutralize negatively charged foreign cells such as bacteria, yeast, viruses, and parasites, effectively killing active infections. In medical use, ozone is made from pure oxygen with an ozone generator and the gas is administered in precise therapeutic doses. Ozone therapy has been utilized and extensively studied for many decades altogether. It’s effects are proven, consistent and with minimal side effects.
Major Autohemotherapy
Major Autohemotherapy involves removing a sample of the patient’s blood (40-60cc) and mixing it in a saline IV bag with ozone. Then, it is reinfused over a period of up to 30 minutes. The ozonated blood will be a brighter red color than the drawn blood. This is because the blood has been oxygenated. Major Autohemotherapy is another term used to describe Ozone Therapy when it is applied to the blood.

How often and how many treatments are required?
The frequence is usually 1-3 times per week. The number of treatments can be up to 20 depending on the severity of the condition, age, and associated health problems.
Are there any side effects with the treatment?
You may experience slight detox symptoms, especially if you have a viral, bacterial, or fungal component to your illness. This is usually characterized by short term fatigue, hot and cold sensations, muscle or body aches (flu like symptoms.)
Minor Autohemotherapy
Minor Autohemotherapy involves removing a small amount of blood into a syringe that has been preloaded with a small amount of ozone. This technique is used to treat:
All types of fungal and bacterial infections
Herpes (oral or genital)
Allergies
Recurrent sinusitis
